Phil Miller and his wife Sharon grew up as farmers’ kids in Texas. Phil studied the cooling trade, opened Bellaire Air Conditioning in 1968, and taught the trade to his son Rusty, who leads the company today with his own son and daughter beside him. The full story lives in our family history.
Houston held just over a million residents when Phil started; U.S. Census Bureau counts now put the city above 2.3 million. Each growth wave left its own housing behind: pier and beam cottages near Bellaire, slab ranches from the 1970s, master planned homes toward Katy and Sugar Land.
